Have you ever wondered why some of your choir members sing so quietly?
Have you tried saying "a little louder" over and over again, but it just doesn't work?
Here’s the truth:
If your singers aren’t confident in how or when to sing out, they’ll massively hold back.
Without being able to sing out, their sound really doesn't contribute to the group in the way that it could
Plus, pockets of quietness in your choir can affect other singers causing them to sing out less, too
Let's fix this common issue once and for all
In this short video, I’ll show you:
âś…Â Why some singers are so quiet (root causes)
âś…Â How to get them to sing out
âś… Bonus: How to get kids to sing out more (think elementary/middle school)

Does Ash Wednesday always seem to sneak up on you?
Are you ready for Easter??
Are you feeling a little ping of anxiety just thinking about it??
Nearly ever year I have felt Ash Wednesday sneaks up SO quickly!
Although part of me is excited for the Lenten season, my music director brain screams "Oh no!!!!!" and then "Here we goooo!!"
Without a doubt, this is the busiest season for church music directors

1)Â Strategic Planning & Communication
One of the reasons the season is challenging is because there is SOO much music
Not only that, but our singers can come with a lot of questions and anxiety around the busier season
They ask:
"What are we doing for Easter", "Are we singing Good Friday?", "Is this piece during communion or offertory?"
And state:
"We don't know this Gloria" (you know the one we did 2 years ago!)

Are you feeling stressed out by the upcoming choir year?
Are you feeling like you have too much work to do and not enough time?
Do you sometimes even think about quitting and doing something completely different?
You are not alone.
But, there are steps you can take to totally transform your situation
Follow these steps and you will start to feel some major progress in your ministry
